Design Consultation 2025

Design Consultation 2025

Get Involved in 2026: The Consultation Has Closed but Our Campaigning Continues!

After over 12 years of determined advocacy, a long-awaited consultation on design and intellectual property (IP) reform arrived in September 2025. This crucial step has the potential to simplify design law, cut the prohibitive costs for SMEs pursuing legal action, and reduce delays in challenging copyists. ACID has tirelessly championed these issues, spotlighting the challenges faced by talented designers whose original creations are all too often shamelessly copied.

Thank you to all who supported us in compiling ACID’s submission to the Design Consultation. Your voices matter and together we can push for change.
