Dids Macdonald, OBE., Becomes Inaugurated as Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company

Dids Macdonald  was  installed in May 2019 as the 58th Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, the City of London livery company and charity for the furnishing industry.  Dids, who succeeded Hayden Davies, was the second female Master in the Company’s history.

Dids said, “To represent the furnishings industry as Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company is not only an honour but a huge opportunity to champion the outstanding work of this talented sector.”

The Furniture Makers’ Company is the City of London livery company and charity for the furniture and furnishing industry. It fosters the industry by supporting those in need, nurturing skills and expertise and inspiring excellence.
