The Jewellery Show, the UK annual trade show for retail jewellery, is set to make a sparkling return in 2023. Following its successful run last year, from the 20th to 21st September, the Jewellery Show will once again be at London’s ExCel Centre, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The event offers attendees the chance to see fine, luxury, bridal, silver, and contemporary designer jewellery, as well as loose precious stones, watches, and retail technology and solutions. The launch of The Jewellery Show took place in 2022 making it the first time a trade event had taken place in the UK in three years, with thousands of buyers from across the globe attending to buy, network, and learn.
Retailers came from 15 countries from top stores and retail chains such as Harry Winston, Chisholm Hunter, FHinds, and Beaverbrooks. They also welcomed designer brands including Boodles and Alexander McQueen.
Lennox Addo, Event Director, said, “After the success of last year’s launch, we’re really excited to bring back The Jewellery Show, as not only is it an event close to my heart, but it’s also one that is needed in the marketplace. The Jewellery Show is unique as it is the only jewellery trade event here in the UK where exhibitors, buyers and like-minded people can come together to share ideas, innovation and collaborate – as well as enjoy purchasing popular pieces or the highest calibre of precious stones or diamonds. This year’s show promises to be no different and I’m excited for our exhibitors and attendees.”
The show is the largest UK trade event for the jewellery industry and sees 3,000 attendees from csuite, managers, and directors to owners and buyers flock to the show for the latest trends in jewellery or to purchase diamonds, precious stones, or accessories.
More than double the number of exhibitors are expected to attend after last year’s show reported an unprecedented exhibitor satisfaction feedback. In fact, more than 100% of the floorspace was rebooked during the 2022 event, with every exhibitor saying the event was a real hit – and this year is shaping up to be no different.
The 2023 floor plan for The Jewellery Show is already 2,000 sqm bigger with such high demand from companies wanting to exhibit. This year will also see the return of the unique fashion show which not only gives visitors the opportunity to see the jewellery worn and styled, but it also allows them to see the pieces up close and personal as the models step off the runway into the audience. Whilst the models are with the visitors, images of the jewellery are show on huge screens overhead allowing the buyers close inspection of the pieces whilst enjoying the high-octane performances. Another highlight set to return is the innovation theatre – the free to attend 2-day conference programme was well attended last year and visitors remarked on the level of content and the calibre of the speakers.
The Jewellery Show is the only place in the UK bringing the whole industry together in 2023. Visitors to the show will have direct responsibility for introducing new brands and ranges to their businesses, in addition to bespoke purchasing.
