HELLO! & Kit Heath launch Kindness Necklace to mark World Kindness Day

“1/4″]”9807″]”3/4”]HELLO! and Kit Heath joined forces to launch an exclusive, special-edition Kindness necklace designed to support the #HelloToKindness movement and mark World Kindness Day on 13th November.

The special-edition necklace is a beautifully elegant 925 sterling silver keepsake that can be worn at two different lengths, plus a tag emblazoned with a signature Kindness message. Every necklace sold includes a £5 voucher to a charity from Kit Heath and Hello’s shortlist of five, allowing the lucky recipient to pay an act of kindness forward. The five charities are: Heads Together, Age UK, Make 2nds Count, Refuge, The Black Curriculum.

The Kit Heath Kindness necklace will be featured in HELLO!, HELLO! Fashion and on HELLOMAGAZINE.COM throughout November and December 2020. Former Olympian and Kit Heath Brand Ambassador Michelle Griffith Robinson OLY will help launch the necklace and appear alongside Kit in the 9 November issue of HELLO! magazine (available on 2 November).

The Kindness necklace is exclusively available through the HELLO! partnership on the Kit Heath website, and HELLO! are giving the collaboration significant media exposure that will reach 2.5 million readers in print and online. Kit Heath Founder and Creative Director, Katie Nickell, commented “this will raise consumer brand awareness and we hope the halo effect will include an increased interest for Kit Heath jewellery, to help our retailers benefit too.”

Katie Added “We are providing graphics and encouraging our retail base to ensure that their Kit Heath display will look as smart as Kit and Michelle did in the pictures, which were shot near us, here in North Devon on Saunton Sands beach and hotel.”

“We remain a small family-run and operated company and we are very proud to be able to support HELLO! with their Kindness movement in these times. This campaign means there’s never been a better time for jewellers to ensure their Kit Heath display is looking at its best!”.

Speaking about the initiative, HELLO! Editor-In-Chief Rosie Nixon comments:

“Kindness can make someone’s day; it can also change their life. It can bring us together emotionally, if not physically, especially at a time like this. I am delighted that this collaboration has a message of Kindness at its core, in support of our #HelloToKindness movement.”

Founder Kit Heath added:

“We live in a world where it is easy to take kindness for granted and overlook its value.  However, we believe that we should hold onto the lessons we have learned during the pandemic and continue to come together, to value our liberty, to appreciate our unsung heroes and be kinder to one another.

“HELLO!’s Kindness movement has provided the perfect platform for us to capture the mood of the moment by creating a symbol to wear, cherish and reflect upon the unbreakable bond we share with those we care for and who care for us.  The smallest things, the smallest acts of kindness take up the most room in our hearts.”

Kit Heath Founder & Creative Director Katie Nickell says:

“My concept was to design a unique, understated piece that was not elaborate and showy, but one that quietly embraced a sentiment of kindness that would have an impact by becoming something that the wearer would hold close to their heart and feel comforted by. Transferring the thoughts and gratitude of the giver by cocooning them in a tactile piece that would make the wearer feel valued and embrace an emotional connection.”

Kit Heath Brand Ambassador Michelle Griffith Robinson OLY adds:

“When I think about the word ‘Kindness’ it takes me back to my childhood. My mother constantly reminded my brothers and I to be kind. Her famous quote was ‘Always be kind, as you never know what someone is going through’ and you never know if you’ll need an act of kindness to get you through a difficult day. Wearing this Kit Heath piece is a reminder of the importance to be kind to everyone, especially during these unpredictable times.”
