ACID Celebrates our Partners, Clerkenwell Design Week, returning in May 2022!

Spring 2022 sees the return of Clerkenwell Design Week for its eleventh edition, taking over London’s most creative district from 24th – 26th May.

The highly anticipated and prestigious Clerkenwell Design Week will finally return this year, after its hiatus since 2019. It is a superb opportunity to support all the excellent designers showcasing. It’s a chance to view the most cutting-edge, innovative, and design-led products on the market.

ACID is proud to say we have some of our own outstanding members showcasing at the event.

Morgan Contract Furniture

Hampshire based Morgan, proud of their British design and manufactured status, are dedicated to bringing their clients innovative design and integrity, craftmanship, originality, and complete dedication to quality.

Stephanie McMahon, Marketing Consultant, says, “At Morgan we design and manufacture original, high-quality furniture for the contract market, from our Hampshire factory. We believe Britain is at the forefront of the art and design movement, and our passion for high quality design and inspiring art led to the creation of Morgan London. An initiative with which to promote this talent through a series of collaborations and events at our Clerkenwell showroom.

Clerkenwell Design Week is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate this; showcasing our latest collections, collaborative art installations and hosting one of a kind, wholesome and educational events.”

John Eadon

John Eadon is a furniture designer and maker based in Warwickshire. He has a design ethos, with sustainability in mind, based on providing high quality handcrafted designs, which will last, hoping to quell the tide against throw away consumerism. His furniture is aimed at residential and commercial clients, plus he is happy to take on bespoke commissions.

John Eadon says, “Being self-taught has taken a lot of time and sacrifice but learning on the job has helped build a full skillset. This, along with my time at Art School and as a practising artist, are the important foundations to my work.”


Gresham have been designing high end work spaces and furniture from their factory in Greater Manchester since 1976. Proud to be outstanding British manufacturers, they have also been awarded Best Newcomer in the International Trade Awards.

They are ahead of the trends when it comes to stylish design, creating improved work spaces for their clients, which ensure comfort and quality don’t have to take second place to innovative design.

The company’s in-house team boasts experienced designers with backgrounds in Product Design, Industrial and Furniture Design, Design Engineering, Interior Design and Graphics, to name but a few.

Based at our Bolton studio, our team come from a myriad of disciplines, bringing their expertise to create inspiring designs. Whether for mainstream products, special variations, or totally bespoke solutions, we provide a complete service from concept through manufacturing to presentation and hand-over. Working in a high-pressure commercial environment, our team needs to balance creativity and flair with quality. Monkey Puzzle Tree

Monkey Puzzle Tree, established in 2017, in the heart of the North of England, design and create luxury fabrics and wallpapers. The award-winning company puts artistry, eccentricity, and innovation foremost when selecting their designs, so their clients can have truly original art in their home.

Monkey Puzzle Tree celebrate the very best of British design, craftsmanship and manufacturing, using carefully selected artists from Yorkshire. They have a strong business ethos of protecting their artists, community, and planet, making their company truly stand-out for even more than just their beautiful designs, full of imagination and originality.

Charlotte Raffo, Founder and Director, says, “At The Monkey Puzzle Tree we collaborate with artists to create award winning wallpapers and fabrics with a twist and a conscience. From our graphic printed real cork wallpaper to our latest locally woven and screen printed fabric we use love to use natural materials in unique ways. As well as paying our artists a generous royalty, we’re passionate about supporting local industry and we manufacture all our designs within 100 miles of our Leeds studio.”

We’re deliberately anti trend and we want to make sure that what we make is different from anything you’ve ever seen. Each of our designs tells a unique story and adds real depth and meaning to an interior scheme.

Clerkenwell is such a vibrant exciting event, I can’t wait to show there again! We will be at Light and Rising Stars in the House of Detention which is an atmospheric underground 19th century prison. We’ll be showing alongside other exciting small furniture, lighting and homewares brands.”
