The event took place in June 2017 at the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel in Mayfair, London. Principal Liz Ward, and senior solicitor Philip Partington were in attendance. The Lawyer Awards are widely regarded as the leading legal awards in the country. For a specialist boutique to be nominated alongside mammoth corporations and be awarded 2nd place) is an unbelievable result.

Notably, Virtuoso Legal are a boutique firm of IP specialists – operating with less than 10 employees, whilst many of the firms Virtuoso beat to 2nd place have offices worldwide and many hundreds of lawyers. Indeed, Allen & Overy’s turnover for 2015/16 was a staggering £1.31 billion, so Virtuoso Legal really were competing true industry giants!
