Skills Survey – CBI Shout Out to ACID Members to Respond by 30 April!

The CBI has recently published their 2021 Education & Skills survey and are looking for responses to help shape a skills-led recovery for the UK from COVID-19.

CBI Talisha Manku said, “In order to get an accurate representation of the design sector I would be grateful if ACID members would help us. The survey will help identify the business perspective on lifelong learning, apprenticeships, youth employability and business engagement in schools, which are crucial to building back better. Those who complete the survey will receive a publication of the results as a thank you for responding, allowing them to use the insights and intelligence from the survey to understand key trends.”

The deadline for responses is 1pm on Friday 30 April.

The CBI annual Education and Skills Survey (TESS) is sponsored by Birbeck, University of London. Against the backdrop of coronavirus and Brexit, TESS will identify business priorities on key issues like retraining and youth employment and where further support is required. Your answers will directly inform the CBI’s engagement with the government while also providing invaluable evidence for discussions across Westminster.

Dids Macdonald, OBE., CEO of ACID said, “It is vital as we emerge from this pandemic to understand more about the landscape of skills in existence to plan and build back better. With so many demands on small business it is a big ask but evidence is crucial to ensure the right decisions are made to safeguard our future.”
